Support Worker Children

Prospero Health and Social Care are recruiting for Support Worker to support children with additional needs in Gosport and greater Hampshire. This position will involve working with children who require 24-hour support and are housed and supported by thelocal authorities with a range of behavioural needs
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide round-the-clock support and care for the children in our care
- Implement behaviour management strategies to support the children's emotional and behavioural development
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Monitor the children's progress and document any changes or concerns
- Collaborate with other members of the care team, including therapists and educators, to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with the children's families and other relevant parties
- Provide support and guidance to the children during sleep-in shifts
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Job Type**: Temporary, with a variety of shift options including long days, short days, sleep-ins, and 24-hour shifts
**Qualifications**:
- At least 6 months of experience working with children with additional needs
- Training and experience in behaviour management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shift options
- Must have a valid driving license
- Must have a valid DBS
