**Working hours**: Full-time nights (3 nights on, 3 nights off per week)
We are looking for an amazing full-time nights Support Worker to join the team within our 10 bed Residential & Short Break Home in Dartington.

There is no such thing as a 'typical’ Support Worker. Our staff come from lots of different backgrounds, people with little or no experience but want a job that involves helping people, those who want a change of career, as well as experienced Support Workers.The one thing that links them all together is their desire to work with young learning-disabled people, make their lives better and help them to learn something new or take a further step towards independence. Our Support Workers certainly don’t see what theydo as 'just another job’.
As a full-time nights Support Worker, your shifts will either be a 9:15pm to 9:15am (these take place during term-time and Saturdays), or 8:00pm - 8:00am (these take place during school holidays), with a working pattern of 3 nights on, 3 nights off.

Based in South Devon, Lifeworks provide high-quality short breaks and residential care, community-based programmes and specialist further education to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities. At Lifeworks, we believe in the rights of allindividuals with a learning disability, however complex, to receive the services and support they need to develop the skills and confidence to reach their full potential.
**About You**
Ideally, you will have previous experience in this sector and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Though this qualification is by no means essential, a willingness to gain the qualification within 2 years is required.
