**About the job**: To promote the Club’s brands as champions of the Great Outdoors through the vision for social media to inspire, educate and engage a community of followers with the outdoor lifestyle and its value proposition. We do this by equipping followers with knowledge and shareable content that drives advocacy and participation. This applies to both CAMC and Experience Freedom brands. The Social Media Executive is a key role in helping us deliver on this vision.
- The Social Media Executive will support the Social Media Manager in delivering content and campaigns across all social channels. They will manage the day-to-day activities in social, champion social media across the organisation and to members and potential members. They will increasingly support member engagement through experiential, virtual and hybrid events in collaboration with the wider Events team. They will also initiate and support campaigns with the Club’s many partners and affiliates to ensure that the Club’s voice is amplified to its widest degree.**Key Tasks/Accountabilities**:

- Day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
- Input into content ideation and strategy for channels, campaigns and product coverage. Using your knowledge of social media to help execute new ideas to support business needs and collaborating with external partners and agencies to bring them to life.
- Monitor user engagement and feedback on posts whilst analysing and reporting the effects on follower numbers, awareness and content generation/opportunities. Be the first point of contact - and escalation - with the Customer Service agents to ensure that all outbound campaigns and initiatives are discussed and shared in a timely manner, ensuring that members and non-members alike are given the most up-to-date and informative content and moderated responses.
- Support the delivery of highly engaging new virtual and hybrid events in collaboration with the wider Events team.
- Keep up to date with current social trends, reporting key insights to the wider team where relevant to strategies. Stay on top of updates to Social Media platforms, and how to best use changes to enhance content.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

- Experience in a social media marketing or content role
- A strong understanding of Social Media and the role it plays in a business.
- Case studies of previous experience using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to help drive brand awareness.
- Strong creative copywriting skills
- Good knowledge of Brandwatch, or similar social media management tools
- Able to use own initiative and work as a member of a team to achieve the overall social media objectives
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Clear communicator; confident curating content, giving briefs and engaging teams.
- Solid understanding of the role of paid social and how paid and organic work together.
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop and Premiere Pro is an advantage

**Desirable skills**
- Video and photo editing production experience
- Travel or tourism sector experience
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and social monitoring tools
- Relevant professional qualification
- Interest in the outdoor lifestyle, camping and caravanning
