Would you like to join our Team? If so, we currently have a vacancy for a Receptionist to cover flexibly across Chapel Health Centre/ New Mills Clinic & Buxton Health Centre.

You will be required to work 21 hours per week, working Monday, Thursday & Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.

Y ou will provide an effective reception service and have good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with patients, relatives, staff and external agencies to support the delivery of an efficient patient service.

To undertake comprehensive reception clerical duties, including:
Greeting, signposting and helping patients and visitors to ensure an excellent ‘front of house’, customer based, service.

To act as initial point of contact for patients and visitors wishing to make a complaint, resolving issues where possible or referring as approprate.

To operate the switchboard and manage telephone enquiries.

Provide support to health professionals by making appointments for a range of services including Podiatry, Orthotics, Wound Care, Physiotherapy and MSK.

To provide a post room function, distributing incoming mail and processing outgoing mail.

Maintain effective cash handling ensuring monies are recorded, receipted and banked including petty cash.

To provide routine clerical and administrative support including photocopying, collating documents, ordering equipment, stock control, reporting maintenance problems.

Responsiblity for ordering and monitoring stock and deliveries.

To undertake room bookings and prepare meeting rooms.

To act as Nominated Officer of Fire for the site and fire warden in the event of fire alarm activation.

To undertake CPR, defibrillator and first aid training in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

To comply with Infection Prevention and Control guidelines and policies and to deal with body fluid spillages according to Trust procedures.

To comply with Health & Safety guidelines/policies, reporting incidents or risks.
