AD Energy are recruiting for a Graduate Health and Safety Advisor for one of our clients who are leaders within the Scottish distilery industry. Our client also have a succesfull and innovative renewable energy business that are recruiting for the graduate Health and Safety Advisor in the Dundee area.

**The Role duties**
- To complete and pass necessary HSE training such as NEBOSH general certificate and other pertinent qualification to be able to fulfill role
- Assist in the delivery of the HSE Strategy and associated Local Action Plans, to be developed in line with the compliance road map. You will play a pivotal role in future developments of the business compliance road maps.
- Proactively drive positive safety cultural change by setting high safety expectations and encouraging others to follow by example.
- Conduct monthly internal compliance audits of site(s) in line with the overall audit plan; report on findings and ensure actions are regularly reviewed through to completion.
- To learn techniques to investigate and support accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings on the relevant forms. You will be required to work with site teams to ensure that immediate containment actions be implemented, and effective corrective actions (longer term as required) are adopted
- Assist site with management of change process
- Assist quality team by periodically auditing training system and the effectiveness of training
- Deliver monthly campaign training
- Work collectively with other members of the compliance team to ensure a consistent approach to policies across the business and implement delivery of the Safety Management System.
- Ensure all policies and risk assessments, as required by legislation, are regularly reviewed at relevant intervals, maintaining records of such review and ensuring documents are controlled, provide training and guidance to staff where required
- To conduct any work deemed necessary by their manager

**Graduate Health and Safety Advisor essential qualifications**
- Qualifications that demonstrate an ability to learn and solve problems.
- Full UK driving licence - regular travel will be required

**Gradiate Health and Safety Advisor desirable experience**
- Some health and safety knowledge.
- Strong IT Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced), word and power point.
- Can demonstrate a level of hazard awareness
- Strong personality and people skills
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
