**The role at a glance**

Orbis Golf are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Product Owner to work directly with the Head of Product Management on the management of our software system **GLF. Connect**.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management your responsibilities and roles will include:

- Working with the Head of Product Management and key stakeholders in the business to understand business drivers and help develop the product strategy and an overall product roadmap
- Assist in the planning and prioritisation of product feature backlog and development for the product
- Assist in creating wireframes and requirements for upcoming projects and product priorities
- Writing and reviewing detailed specifications and user stories in order for our development team to project product enhancement timelines
- Work within our agile management tool to create, track and manage projects and product enhancements
- Assist in the testing of product enhancements and supplying feedback throughout the product development cycle
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the software to improve the customer experience, processes, and systems.
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure continuous communication of solutions, delivery status and benefits
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Head of Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
- Assist in planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of releases and sprint goals
- Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow our competitors and the industry trends
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

**Essential**
- Highly Organised, with an ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- A strong and confident communicator
- Considerate of the opinions of others, but equally willing to be a decision maker and be decisive
- Creative with ideas, designs, and solutions to problems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity in creating product wireframes and user stories
- Familiarity in working within agile management tools
- Attention to detail but with a flair for creativity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail

**Desirable**
- Previous experience working as a Junior Product Owner or in Product Manager/ Owner Role
- Keen interest in sports and sports coaching
- Previous experience working in Jira
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Knowledge of web and mobile app architecture

**Salary and Benefits**
- **Salary**:£22,000.00 - £26,000.00

**Equipment & Expenses**
- Company laptop, and travel expenses to monthly team meetings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
