**Asbestos Surveyor**

Anglian are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our Company, supporting our projects and growing client list across East Anglia and the UK.

**Main Duties**:

- Carrying out ‘Management’ and ‘Refurbishment / Demolition surveys on a range of domestic and commercial premises.
- Carrying out bulk sampling within the region.
- Liaising on a daily basis with clients and contractors.
- Preparing & writing up survey reports.
- Support management with any training needs.

**Surveyor Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience within the asbestos surveying field.
- You must hold BOHS P402 surveying & sampling strategies (or RSPH equivalent qualifications) for asbestos in buildings.
- Additional qualifications would be advantageous.
- Demonstration and working knowledge in HSG264.
- Experience of undertaking various asbestos surveys in a variety of commercial and domestic properties.
- Experience of carrying out management, refurbishment, reinspection, and demolition surveys.
- Experience of using surveying software for example alpha tracker for onsite data collection is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Ability to prepare surveys and reports to Anglian's standards.
- Willingness to learn and train others.
- IT Literate (Microsoft office packages including microsoft word and visio)
- Good time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and to set deadlines.
- Able to work independently or as part of a wider team.
- Good communicator, able to interact with clients and present a positive impression.
- Full current driving license and have a willingness to work flexibly.

**Role Details**:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8.00 am
- 5:00 pm, Competitive rates of pay (to be discussed at interview stage) commercial vehicle, fuel card, tablet and work phone, company uniform, life insurance cover, employee assistance programe (wellness package) company pension, and 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays)

Our head office is based in Attleborough, Norfolk, this role would require regional travel, with the flexibility to work remotely.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- asbestos surveying: 2 years (preferred)
