We are looking to recruit a full-time PCB Tester for our well established client based in the local area.

This will be working within their busy manufacturing & production area and you will be working within a team to manufacture high quality products for their external customers.

The main responsibilities and duties will include:
- Carrying out Inspections and testing of electronic sub-assemblies in accordance with test procedures and Company standards.
- Record pass and fail results of tested products onto the Company database
- Carry out the operation of Automatic Test Equipment including any manual intervention as required by the test specification.
- Carry out basic fault finding on failed sub-assemblies.
- Repair and replace faulty components as necessary or record failure reason and pass to QA Department for further investigation.
- Proficient use of soldering and de-soldering equipment, electronic meters and any other equipment required during the testing of products.
- Liaise with production personnel, team leaders and Engineers as necessary to carry out testing and to resolve issues.
- Explain and demonstrate testing procedures to other team members.

The skills and experience required:
- Soldering skills desirable (training will be given)
- Able towork to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Be reliable, conscientious and hard working
- Ideally have experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow Test Procedures and instructions

The hours of work will be : - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday
