**Role: Care Quality Supervisor**

**Location: North Herts Community - Letchworth, Royston, Hitchin & Villages Surrounding Area**

**Salary: £29,120 Per Annum**

**Working Hours : 40 hours per week**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Herts at Home for a new Care Quality Supervisor to join our busy supportive team. The role will be to ensure that excellent support can be delivered to our people we support in their own homes, by a team of busy carers. You will be an innovative person who can support the company to implement and maintain good quality service delivery to the people who use our services.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensuring new staff are supported and inducted in line with the Herts at Home onboarding processes.
- Complete supervisions of care workers in line with CQC compliance and the companies policies and procedures.
- Supporting monthly team meetings to update on team performance, policy changes, company news and developments alongside the Care Team Manager.
- Conducting service user care reviews and any required updates to care plans.
- Supporting staff with ensuring the service provides safe care delivery to all our service users.
- Support staff to understand/ implement/ improve good practises alongside the Care Team Manager.
- Preforming physical care tasks for service users when needed.

**About you**:

- Proven people management skills and experience.
- A solid understanding of CQC and Care Act Legislation.
- Experience of person centred planning
- NVQ Level 2 or above.
- Experience of managing and reporting on budgets.
- Excellent understanding of English language both written and spoken.
- Daily access to a car with a clean driving license.
- A solid understanding of Excel, word, outlook etc
