An enthusiastic dynamic individual leading Staff Engagement, Culture and OD priorities through effective staff engagement strategy to strengthen culture and organisational values and meet EDI and wellbeing agendas for our diverse workforce. The post holder will use traditional tools, NHS Staff Survey and innovate to improve Staff experience

A professionally qualified experienced individual with demonstrable Staff engagement experience and senior strategic OD experience in similar complex setting. Excellent communications skills are essential to build engagement with wide audience. The successful applicant will have evidence of leading successful OD initiatives to deliver objectives and analyse detailed information to implement change, working cross functionally.

The post holder will have a key role in the management of the Group Culture programme. The design and delivery of this is also shared by other colleagues reporting to the Group Chief People Officer but the postholder will play a pivotal role supporting the management of the programme. be responsible They will be accountable for developing, creating, maintaining and updating an effective staff engagement strategy.

A key activity is the annual NHS Staff Survey and producing a response to staff feedback.

Additionally, they will provide Specialist OD Consultancy, Advice, Support and Facilitation as part of the team.

In 2021, St George’s entered into a new Group model with Epsom and St Helier (ESTH) Hospitals in Southwest London. This new entity is known as the St George’s, Epsom and St Helier (GESH) University Hospitals and Healthcare Group.

The Group model and formation of GESH presents significant opportunities for the OD function. The postholder will play a significant part in adapting existing OD services in light of these opportunities and working with colleagues at Epsom and St Helier to build closer links and Group-wide services fit for our future.

We are continuing to shape the future Group wide HR function as a whole.
