Job Summary:
**Duties**:
In this role, you'll ensure that the Principal Dentist is provided with first class administrative support to drive and enable ambitions of the business. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Diary management - organising and maintaining complex and frequently changing diaries and maximising time utilisation
- Organising meetings and appointments
- Managing Social Media and promoting business on a daily basis
- Sharing information in a timely manner with the Principal Dentist
- Management of monthly expenses
- Monthly reporting of the invoices, plus entry of these invoices to the accounting software.
- Arranging team bonding events / team meetings (plus taking minutes of the meetings)
- Managing Dental Practice Compliance
- Travel to different dental practices as and when required
- Providing cover, when required at reception
- Co-ordinating UK and international travel, accommodation and on and off-site meetings
- Acting as a gateway to ensure the Principal Dentist's time is used effectively to keep on track with daily schedules

**About you**
- Previous experience (covering all of the key areas of responsibility of the role) especially social media management
- Excellent computer skills using Outlook and Microsoft packages
- First class people skills - these are essential as this role will work with a wide range of people
- Persistence, diplomacy & maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be able to travel / drive to different locations around Greater Manchester on different days.

- Provide administrative support such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Answer and direct phone calls and take messages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Assist in organising meetings and events
- Maintain office / dental supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Secretary or Medical Secretary or Administrative Assistant
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
