**About the Role**:
A busy, varied entry level role in which the Finance Assistant will provide support and assistance on a range of tasks on accounts payable and receivable.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Preparation and entry of BACS payments into bank
- Entry of purchase ledger invoices into accounting system accurately
- Ensure purchases and payments are accurately entered into accounting system
- Check and approval of monthly employee expenses and credit cards
- Preparation of monthly sales invoices
- Ensure sales invoices are recorded accurately
- Respond to and resolve queries relating to both sales and purchase ledger in an accurate and timely manner
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements**:

- At least one year experience of data entry within a finance team or in an administrative role
- Attention to detail
- Good MS Excel and Word skills
- Good communication skills with internal and external individuals
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate working to deadlines successfully
- Use of accounting system NetSuite a plus.
