Our client is an established business in their sector and they are currently recruiting for someone with experience of accounts payable to join their busy team.
Working in a newly created role, you will be part of a team of four and the role will be fast-paced and will be site-based, with the option for one day a week from home once you have bedded in.
Duties will include
- Checking, entering and matching invoices to purchase orders
- Handling supplier queries, escalating any queries as appropriate
- Working to deadlines and ensuring payments are made on a timely basis
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with sales ledger and credit control
- Cashbook and bank reconciliations
The right person will quick to pick things up, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be happy to muck in.
Good Excel skills are important as is a professional manner and a keen eye for detail.
Training will be given but an understanding of accounts payable is necessary.
