Based a short walk from Canterbury City centre, we are looking for an enthusiastic and cheery Team Member to join our friendly team. Our bustling Youth Hostel provides accommodation to educational and sporting groups from all corners of the globe. We are also popular with families and individual backpacker travellers as a gateway hostel to the the rest of our fabulous (England & Wales) network. This role will include working in all key areas of the operation - reception, housekeeping and catering - training will be provided but previous experience in hospitality would be advantageous. Shifts within our working day start from 6.30am and can finish up to 11pm, therefore a reliance upon public transport is not advisable.

**The Role: Your Key Contributions**

As a Hospitality Team Member, you'll play a crucial role in making our guests' experiences memorable. Your efforts will be at the core of our mission to provide exceptional hospitality, regardless of your background or experience.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Providing warm hospitality and great customer service to all our customers, members and guests.
- Working on reception and offering insights about the hostel and the local area, ensuring every guest feels informed and welcomed.
- Utilising our systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs and food & beverage sales and service.
- Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.
- Assisting in the preparation of food in the kitchen and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality, and pride that will influence in more sales. Suggesting enjoying dinner with us or offering a beverage or dessert as you assist with table service, ensuring a diverse and welcoming experience for all guests.
