**We are looking for therapists with at least 2 years post qualification experience who are training in CfD, EMDR, or IPT or qualified to deliver any IAPT specific interventions.**

House of Light is a Charity specialising in perinatal mental health. We offer counselling interventions on the local NHS Talking Therapy networks in Hull and East Yorkshire and offer support and counselling to primary care givers struggling with their mental health pre-conception to post birth. We have a particular passion in perinatal mental health issues including antenatal and postnatal depression, birth trauma, baby loss, stillbirth and miscarriage.

We are looking for someone with a high level of skill and experience. You must be qualified to degree level and have either achieved or be working towards achieving accreditation with a recognised governing body.

You are paid per attended session dependent on experience, accreditation and qualifications.

We are a dedicated team of professionals who understand pregnancy and childbirth and the problems we can face during this life changing event.

House of Light will provide specialist perinatal training to all successful applicants and you must be willing to engage in further training to enhance your skillset.

You will be providing solution focused therapy within a stepped care model for adults only.

House of Light’s current working week is Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm. We have full days available across the week and welcome applicants willing to offer face to face therapies for at least 2 full days per week.

**Essential**:

- Interest in Perinatal Mental Health
- Recognised accredited Counselling Qualification
- Accreditation completed or in progress
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Ability to carry out risk assessments
- Evidence of regular clinical supervision
- Excellent ability to maintain clear boundaries
- Ability to work within a time-limited framework
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and management
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to manage and maintain client records using electronic systems
- Excellent administrative and time management skills.
- You must hold your own indemnity insurance and up to date DBS check

You need to be willing to attend team meetings and complete essential training requirements.
