**Overview of the role**:
To supervise the day-to -day operation of the Champions Gym, maintain the required standards of cleaning, H&S and to supervise all employees as defined. Provide PT instruction to members and guests. Assist with Golf Operations during off peak periods.

**Your Responsibilities as a **Leisure Supervisor**:

- Leading the gym team to deliver exceptional member & guest services, always creating memorable member engagement while role-modelling expected behaviour and JCB Golf & Country Club values.
- Manage adequate and effective team rotas and scheduling of any activities within the Gym.
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
- Leading the gym team to deliver JCB’s ways of operating and standards and always ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Leading the team to ensure that all gym equipment is always in operation and clean.
- Liaising with the Golf & Leisure Operations Manager to ensure that a dynamic programme of activities is provided that match the needs of our members and is delivered consistently.
- Acting as first point on contact and taking ownership for any gym team member queries or concerns.
- Supporting the Golf & Leisure Operations Manager in ensuring that we recruit great people and induct, train, manage and develop a high-performance team.
- Knowing our club and engaging with members about their activities and seeking ways to improve their experience of the JCB Championship Fitness Suite at every opportunity.
- Operating and supporting the reception desk to ensure that gym bookings, Golf Bookings and Members Golf days are welcomed and taken care off.
- Educating the team by producing SOPs to cover all aspects of the gym’s operations.
- Deliver Ad hoc activities as required.
- Be part of a wider team, supporting the Golf Operations team when and where required.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, daytimes, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

**About you**:
**We are searching for an enthusiastic energised individual that is experienced in managing a team and someone that is passionate about fitness and performing P.T instruction.**

**Applicant must be a minimum of level 3 PT instruction certified.**

**Golf knowledge desirable but not essential.**
