Ardingly College is seeking an organised and efficient Examinations Officer from October 2023 to coordinate all examinations across the Senior School, both public and internal.

In this integral role, the post-holder will be responsible for managing all examination procedures at the College and ensure the smooth running of the public examination series. The Examination Officer will be the principal link with Examination Boards, Heads of Department and Senior Management Team regarding all examination issues.

The role would suit someone who is highly organised and able to work accurately and to deadlines under pressure. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential as there will be interaction with parents, pupils and staff as well as external examination bodies. Experience in a similar role within an educational setting would be advantageous, although not essential.

The hours of work are 40 hours per week for 37 weeks per year, (term time plus an additional 3 weeks). Flexibility will be required during examination season.

Salary will be calculated based on £35,000 to £38,000 FTE and inclusive of 5.3 weeks paid holiday.
