Job Introduction
As a **Stores Person** at Sodexo at **HMS Nelson, Portsmouth **you'll be providing support to the Catering, Retail and Leisure team, in areas of food storage, production and service to the required standards. **What you’ll do**:

- Provide excellent customer service, from daily collection and delivery of satellite meals, to supporting the wider FMSP customer experience team with daily operational requirements.
- Understand and ensure adherence to Food Safety Legislation, working practices and procedures
- Assist with all aspects of deliveries, storage, preparation, and presentation of food service, to the notified standard
- Assist with the replenishment of stock, and equipment, to ensure service periods do not stop
- Assist, as required, at special functions, some of which may occur outside normal working hours
- Collect and deliver required satellite meals, for ships demands, as and when required
- Other duties may be requested depending on support needed at that specific time

**What you bring**:

- A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working
- Excellent attention to detail, plus good communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but not required
- General knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning

Package Description
- **40 hours per week**:
