**Salary**: £28,000-£38,810 (M1-M6)

**Hours**:Full time - Term Time Only (40 hours full time)

We are currently looking for a **Teacher** to join an SEN provision in Meldreth near Royston, supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Our exceptional client has a children’s home and school that is based in Meldreth near Royston. The provision provides education, care and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 9-19 years with severe and profound communication difficultiesassociated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.

Sitting on a vast site, our client has some exceptional facilities such as a new hydrotherapy pool, café and hub, rebound room, art and music rooms, landscaped gardens and so much more.

**The Role**:
It will be your responsibility will be to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.

**Responsibilities and Requirements**:

- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training
- Working knowledge of the Teacher Standards and expectations
- Knowledge and personal experience of SEN learning particularly sensory lead curriculums
- Positive team working, being able to contribute to our established team
- Diligence and accuracy in assessing, reporting and recording
- The ability to lead and direct other adults supporting within the class
- The role may require participation in physical intervention and personal care routines
