Nancledra Preschool is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly professional team. We are a small business in Nancledra based between St Ives and Penzance. We can offer a high-quality supportive environment for professional development in early years childcare, and flexible hours particularly good for those reentering the workplace after a break or juggling with other commitments and training.

Full times hours, all year round.

This is a wide and varied role. You will:

- Be working effectively with colleagues to develop inspirational learning opportunities for children;
- Be accountable for your own key children, working in partnership with parents/carers;
- Be responsible for ensuring all children’s personal needs are met, including observing, planning and evaluation;
- Contribute to the Preschool room planning;
- Fully understand the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, safeguarding and child protection policies and health and safety legislation.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

- Full and relevant Early Years qualification Level 3 or above
- Awareness and working knowledge of the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework
- Experience of working within a team in a similar role
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.84 per hour
