Production Planner

Freshcut Foods is the market leading producer of natural plant-based ingredients for the UK’s leading foodservice brands, food manufacturers and recipe box providers. Given our market leading position and favourable consumer trends, the business is experiencing strong growth which is expected to continue over the coming years. The business operates from a well invested site in Beeston, Nottingham.

**Position**:
Do you work in Production Planning? Are you looking for your next challenge? Freshcut Foods are currently looking to recruit a new Production Planner to effectively manage our Production Plans throughout the business.

This role will be a Sunday to Thursday shift pattern.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To schedule efficient production plans for both labour and equipment
- To liaise effectively with purchasing and SOP to ensure that all amendments are dealt with the achieve 100% customer service
- To ensure that all production schedules which are produced meet Internal Product Specification and Technical guidelines
- To provide a service to the factory to ensure that all orders and amendments are processed and communicated correctly with relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of products where required
- Handle internal and external queries, ensuring accurate and efficient responses
- To attend daily meetings to discuss the next days plans and labour requirements
- Ensure that our internal systems are kept accurate and up to date

**Requirements**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to meet daily targets
- Excellent communication skills, able to form and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Experience in working in FMCG is desirable
- Flexible to assist the team with holiday and sickness cover
