24-7 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Metrologist for our client in Banbury. As a Metrologist you will oversee the monitoring of the quality systems implementation in our fast-paced pack line in our state of the art facility.

As a Metrologist you will be:

- provide specialist metrology leadership, this will include ensuring all metrology activities are planned, optimised and carried out in an efficient manner.
- Using your attention to detail you will ensure that high standards of accuracy and precision are met that surpass quality standards and customer requirements.
- With a focus on problem solving you will ensure a timely and robust resolution of measurements systems and methods problems.
- Inspection of supplier parts is an important part of the role to ensure they are compliant with design and drawing specifications.
- Providing specialist measurement support you will be required to deliver a measurement service provision including designing measurement strategies and specialist measurement programs to the shop floor.

To be considered for the position of Metrologist you will need to:

- Be motivated self-starter.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Evidence of previous Metrologist Experience.
- Specialist technical knowledge of measurement equipment processes, equipment and facilities.
- Have experience of working in busy manufacturing environment preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Awareness of importance of standard operating procedures

As a Metrologist you will:

- Receive an annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000
- Work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday 0900-1800 with two 30 minutes break)
- Receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Be located in Banbury or commutable on a daily basis
