The Speech House Hotel is seeking a part time night porter to work 2/3 out of 8 shifts and cover holidays. Will include some weekends and bank holidays. Hours of work are 10pm to 7am each night.

Training will be given to the right person. Need to be people focused, able to work alone, and enjoy a variety of tasks, including bar work, checking guests in and out of the hotel, and some light cleaning jobs, as well as being responsible for the security of guests and buildings at night.

The Speech House Hotel has a fine dining restaurant, an informal dining area in the Orangery, and function facilities for weddings and conferences. Our customers are what makes us, and we want to provide them with the best experience from the first step they take into the hotel, to when they leave. We pride ourselves on our reputation for being an independently run hotel, and we care about our staff.

We offer training and development at all levels, including NVQs and college courses in food and bar management, as well as on the job training.
