Registered Manager

Halcyon are working exclusively with a family owned organisation that operate across Swindon, Luton and Kent, that specialise in providing residential, outreach and supported living care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Both Directorshave over 10 years experience in the care sector and a further 20 years experience in the medical sector. Having always excelled in their medical fields, they brought this into their care services and pride themselves in providing the highest standards ofcare to adults with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours and Autism.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 2 residential services based in Sheerness and Sittingbourne. The first is a beautiful 4-bed, detached chalet with stunning views over farmland offer a sense of peace and tranquillity for theclients living there. The second is a 9-bed detached property, again with stunning views over the countryside, offering a relaxing atmosphere for their residents. Both of these services look after adults with a range of learning disabilities and some mildchallenging behaviours.

You will be expected to have experience in running an adults learning disabilities service, or multiple services previously, and have a sound understanding around CQC regulations and safeguarding. It will be your responsibility to ensure all paperwork consistentlymeets standards and that both services are operating at the level expected. You will be in charge of a medium to large staff team spread over 2 services, so it is essential you possess the qualities of a leader / someone that can inspire their colleagues.

In return for your full commitment to this role, you will be offered a competitive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000, depending on your experience, as well as a generous benefits package.
