Housekeeper/cleaner

WORKING DAYS - SATURDAY to TUESDAY - 10 hour days

A lovely family of 5 living in Berkshire are looking for a well-presented and very professional Live in Housekeeper to help in their family home. The family consists of mother, father, and 3 younger children. The family also have two dogs - Labrador and Spaniel. There are part-time cleaners, gardeners, an estate manager, and a nanny already employed in the house, you will be a part of this team and emphasis is on “team” as everyone helps out when and where needed.

We are looking for someone who is child and dog-friendly, initiative, and proactive - who takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail and is happy to be flexible and work to a high standard.

Duties to include:

- High standard with Housekeeping and Laundry / Ironing
- Some personal assistance to the female Principal
- Capable with kitchen prep and cooking
- Checking pantry & fridge for essential items
- Online/other shopping errands as required
- Flower / garden vegetable preparation
- Wardrobe / cupboard / larder management
- Liaising and arranging contractors
- Highly organised and able to manage household schedules and house staff
- Other ad hoc duties as required - basic sewing etc

A full UK driving license

Accommodation: 1 bedroom cottage when working

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- rg17 9sa: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
