Payroll Supervisor

An Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a changing and diverse environment with responsibility for a busy payroll within a finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller of a large public sector organisation

**Duties will include (but not limited to)**
- Manage the fortnightly payroll processes and associated Revenue payments including liaising with HR, payroll providers, Revenue and all other controls and reconciliations around Payroll ensuring accurate and quality reporting within the timelines.
- Ensure month-end close is completed and all reconciliations are carried out according to schedule including the review and sign off of monthly reconciliations and reports.
- Document, update, implement existing and new policies and procedures and ensure they are communicated to the team and other stakeholders.
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders in process, managing tight time lines, and control focused with an attention to detail.
- Collaborate on projects as part of a continuous improvement program, including the utilisation of technology and financial systems to streamline business processes. Coordinate and assist in the development of Finance Systems upgrades, enhancements and process developments both within the team and related control cycles.
- Hold a minimum of a NFQ degree level 7 qualification - an IPASS Qualification is desirable
- Have at least 3-5 years relevant experience with three of those years in a finance role;
- Extensive experience in a Payroll and grants administration
- Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills;
- Experience working with the financial modules of Agresso or similar finance software;
- Good analytical ability, with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement;
