Horticultural Assistant

Full/part time staff are required to join our dedicated team working on this locally based but nationally recognised specialist nursery producing primarily grasses and perennials for sale on site and through mail order.

**Horticultural Assistant for Mail order preparation;**

Primary duties as part of a small team will be the selection and preparation of plants for mail order in this commercial fast paced nursery. Additional duties will include stocking and maintenance of plant centre and serving the public (including some telephone calls). Other nursery duties, such as the maintenance, dividing and potting of plants, will be required as time permits.

This role has potential to move to a lead position at an enhanced rate of pay for those who demonstrate clear ability once in post.

Days; Between 3 - 5 days per week including Saturdays (possibly as part of a rota).

Hourly Rate; Currently £10.90 per hour.
