**Job Title**:Finance Analyst

**Location**: Telford - Very flexible hybrid

**Type**: 12 Month Contract

A FTSE 100 Insurance Company with an office based in Telford is recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Financial Reporting team on a 12-month Contract basis. The focus of the role is to provide financial and regulatory reporting supportto the wider business ensure the organisation meets its regulatory, reputational and commercial requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical accounting and regulatory reporting support across the finance department
- Dealing with Solvency II reporting for the group
- Responsible for preparing statutory accounts
- Working as a key contact point for external auditors
- Assisting in the transition from IFRS 4 to IFRS 17
- Monitor the technical accounting and regulatory reporting environment for impacts on the businesses financial reporting
- Manage technical issues across the department, liaising with key stakeholders such as Group Finance, Finance Technical Committee and External Auditors
- Produce quality departmental updates to Board
- Co-ordinate KPI, KRI, risk and control reporting across the Financial Reporting team

**Experience and attributes required**:
