Woodshop Supervisor

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Westbury with the recruitment of a wood shop supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for undertaking and supervision of production activities within the wood shop department to ensure the needs are meet for internal and external customers.

Key Duties:

- Undertake production activities and to ensure products are manufactured in an effective and timely manner.
- Supervise the team within your control to provide support to and deputise for your line manager.
- Continuously improve the production process to extend efficiency, quality and meet the changing needs of the business.
- sustain a high standard of house keeping / maintenance to ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to ISO procedures to ensure consistency and high quality manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to health and safety practices as determined by the needs of the business and legislation.
- Coach Employees new to the task / process to ensure swift understanding and attainment of necessary skills.
- Adhere to health and safety practices.
- Personal training and development to ensure personal and business success.

To be considered for this role you will have supervisory experience with a production / manufacturing setting ideally within woodwork.

The role is working Monday to Friday with a salary of between £25,000 - £28,300.
