We are looking for a Kitchen Porter for our busy café.

**Job Summary**

Responsible for dishwashing, cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors.

**Main Duties**
- Wash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
- Work quickly and efficiently alongside the other kitchen and front of house staff ensuring they have everything they need to hand and that all items are in the correct place
- Ensure that all kitchen work surfaces, walls, floors, pipes, sinks, refrigerators, freezers and appliances are kept impeccably clean
- Collect and remove rubbish following established procedures and ensure bin areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order and chemical levels are correct
- Ensure that you are always smart, professional and courteous when in the open kitchen
- Comply with Food Hygiene, Fire and Health & Safety regulations and perform your duties safely
- The above duties are not exhaustive and, from time to time, you may be required to perform other functions

**Requirements**:

- Interested in food and the restaurant business
- Industrious, proactive and calm under pressure
- Good time management skills and able to work under limited supervision
- Aware of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Enjoys working as part of a team
