Unreal Developer

An opportunity has arisen for an Unreal Developer with strong experience in game development, or specifically VR to join a growing business that is democratising simulation training by bringing high end simulation capability, once the sole domain of eliteroles such as pilots, surgeons and F1 drivers, to whoever needs is, whenever they need it, wherever they need it.
Along with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, you will also receive flexible home/office working opportunities, the option to acquire shares in the company after 12-months, pension contributions, and a phone/hardware package.
The role will involve working on building an offshore wind VR simulation platform, as well as working on some of their aerospace & defence simulation products, as well as simulation R&D projects.
**As Unreal Developer, your responsibilities will include**:
- Working in a multi-disciplinary environment with 3D, Data, and product colleagues.
- Translating product design and plans into high quality virtual simulation.
- Sharing knowledge, helping, and mentoring colleagues in a communal, cross-disciplinary and remote team environment.
- Designing and implementing well-engineered, reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code.
- Solving challenging technical issues.
- Following best practices, development processes, and coding standards.
- Documenting and peer reviewing technical designs with other software engineers.
**We are looking for an Unreal Developer who has the following skills and experiences**:
- Extensive professional games/simulation development experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- Extensive experience with self-testing to minimise and fix issues
- Expert knowledge of software development and best-practices
- Experience in leading a team of developers
- Must be based in the England
