Elevation Recruitment Group Engineering & Manufacturing are supporting a high volume precision manufacturing company based in Pudsey to find a CNC Machinist to add to their well-performing and established team.
As a key member of the Production Team, you will be the team 'go-to' for technical advice, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. You will step up to lead the shift in the absence of the Production Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist include (but are not limited to):

- Programming, setting, and operating a variety of Fanuc controlled CNC Bar Fed Lathes
- Supporting the Production Manager with all technical and machine-based issues
- Mentor the CNC setters and CNC Operators in day-to-day production activities, being the go-to person on shift
- CNC Programming, setting, and operating experience on a lathe (bar fed/sliding head preferable) with fanuc controls
- Ability to act decisively to solve technical and equipment-related problems
- Resilience to working under pressure and multi-tasking
- Numerate, logical, and systematic working practices
- IT Literacy including Microsoft Office package and ERP
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach to 'getting the job done'
