**Description**:
**Role purpose**:

- To shape OPEN RAN product solutions OPEN RAN Solutions by delivering complex systems and capability into OpenRAN lab, working with technical owners to design and build automated testing capability and providing key solutions to resolving some of the most challenging aspects of OpenRAN - the testing and overall system integration
- Lead OPEN RAN System Integration Ecosystem to deliver OPEN RAN Roadmap, driving results across Product Integration, Network Services, Support and End-to-End Radio Product validation and successful deployment in the field.
- Take part and form the Interface to Industry forums/Partners to grow Vodafone´s Influence, Suppliers, Markets and Group functions around OpenRAN
- Build, operate and maintain theOPEN RAN Test lab, delivering on the Product and System Integration capability, and drive vendor performance and capability within the OpenRAN lab
- Help the business track and develop solutions across all development stages and enabling successful Product integration and deployments in and across a number of markets.
**With us you will**:

- Deliver Vodafone OPEN RAN testing capability in line with the OpenRAN engineers, Vendors, Suppliers and partners, using automated systems and processes to enable OpenRAN at OpCo, Central and industry level to succeed.
- Delivery onintegration strategy, solutions a& architectures to support commercial OpenRAN Network deployment and operation across our Markets
- Validate the OPEN RAN readiness for commercial service, and maintain operational performance and reliability through robust system release management processes
- Drive and leverage industry collaborations with our technology, partners, the wider industry and OPEN RAN industry forums for Product Integration, Network Services, solutions, Support and E2E testing.
- Ideate, drive and deliver new Processes for Continuous Development/Intgr. of Radio solutions
- Drive Year on year cost reduction and process/platform efficiency improvements
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Technical expertise in Mobile Access Technologies and Standards incl. 2G/3G/4G/5G, Antennas, Repeaters, Site Infrastructure and Small Cells.
- Desired Experience in deployment and lab would be highly favoured, and knowledge of System Integration tools, test environments and System release management also beneficial
- Experience developing System Integration, system release management and product test procedures and processes in complex environments
- Project & Delivery Management Skills
- Desirable to have University degree in Engineering/ Computer Science or MBA
- Knowledge and or experience around the use of general network deployment scenarios would also be of interest
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and use of pipeline and automation Open source tools would also be desirable
