We are on the lookout for a **Receptionist** to join our Hull office on a full time basis. You will be required to work Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm or 7am - 3pm.
You'll contribute to the smooth running of the company’s reception area, ensuring all tasks are conducted accurately and in a timely manner.
**The key responsibilities**:
- To provide visitors and clients with a professional and courteous welcome, ensuring they sign in and out of the visitors book and complete confidentiality documentation as required.
- Take incoming calls on the main line ensuring calls are dealt with quickly and in an appropriate manner.
- Control the fob access system including ID cards and reporting for audit purposes.
- Providing a meeting room booking service for Hull and Glasgow sites.
- Weekly co-ordination and allocation of on-site parking.
- Undertake Health & Safety relates duties including ordering and issuing DSE equipment and updating all H&S personnel posters for all UKDS sites.
- Undertake Facilities related duties including the reporting and tracking of faults, collating and updating environmental trackers and logging UKDS invoices.
- Assist in Mail Room duties as and when required.
- Carry out any reasonable instructions as directed by your Line Manager.
- Record all stationery requests on the Stationery log along with stock controlling, liaising with suppliers on procurement and costs.
- To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested.

- Planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to positively interact with colleagues, customers and visitors.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers of goods and services and the general public preferred.
- A flexible approach with ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work confidentially with integrity and discretion.
