**The key responsibilities are**:
**SERVICE DELIVERY**
- Deliver our client service level agreements
- Work with clients to gain a high client satisfaction score
- Deliver a high technical standard so there are no mistakes or client complaintsabout quality of work - Bookkeeping, VAT returns, ad hoc client queries, production of management accounts
- Speak with clients quarterly, monthly etc.
- Adhere to the firm’s client care policy
- Identify opportunities to help clients improve the quality, efficiency and relevance of their bookkeeping and management accounting processes
- Minimise client churn by delivering excellent client service
- Update timesheets daily in order to identify the profitability of each client in own portfolio
- Work with the wider account manager team understand any root causes for low or high profitability

**PEOPLE STUFF**
- Work with line manager to agree individual productivity targets
- Keep up-to-date with: technical updates, changes in accounting and tax regulations; the current (and proposed future state) of cloud accounting platforms,financial software, cloud based financial and business apps
- Take ownership for own development and personal workload by: Planning ahead for quarterly mini-performance reviews and monthly 1:2:1s with line manager; Promptly and accurately give feedback to team manager and people who you work with; Give as much emphasis to allocated Growth Tasks as day-to-day objectives; Contribute in the firm’s Rhythm Meetings, especially the daily operational huddles and monthly team meetings. Come to these meetings with an update on progress against personal Growth Tasks.

**CREATION & CULTIVATION**
- Be knowledgeable about the different services of the firmand when clients may need these services.
- Use on-line social networking sites such as LinkedIn to build up a professional profile personally and on behalf of the firm.
- Create strong relationships with clients through client meetings and other avenues
- Flag opportunities to improve and increase service provision to line manager
- Prior experience working within a general practice environment
- Be motivated to join a fast-paced progressive working environment
- Be able to communicate professionally and effectively with both clients and colleaguesPossess good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365. Working knowledge of accounting software preferably TaxCalc, Xero, Dext Prepare and Sage 50 accounts. This is not essential as full training will be given.

This role is open to non/part qualified bookkeepers who have relevant experience. You will have the opportunity to progress your career and qualifications as desired as we will support and help you meet your personal targets. You will be working alongside accoutants, managers and Directors and will also benefit from their knowledge and experience.

Salary dependent on experience

Full Time position - Monday to Friday

Pay: £24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
