**Scaffold Design Engineer -**required for my client who are a leading scaffolding and access specialist company in a Central London office. This opportunity for a Scaffolding Engineer / Temporary Works Design Engineer is to join an award winningcompany that pride themselves on their professionalism, career opportunities and their commitment to sustainability.

The Scaffold Engineer will have scaffolding and temporary works design experience within a design office environment. The Structural Engineer will de degree qualified with a BEng or higher in a suitable discipline with at least 2 years' experience withinthe Temporary Works and Scaffolding sector. The Scaffolding Engineer will be providing detailed design drawings, structural calculations and design risk assessments for a range of commercial and industrial projects.

The Structural Engineer will be giving the opportunity to work for a company that will support their career development within the industry and to work for a leading well respected company within their field.

**Scaffold Design Engineer Position Overview**
- The design of scaffolding / temporary works in accordance with British and European codes
- Analyse the structural integrity of scaffolding and temporary works structures
- Hand calculation to second order frame analysis
- Assess and design-out hazards
- Conduct site surveys, collect and assess site information
- Liaise with clients at design and site meetings
- Understand the practicalities of the erection, use and dismantle of scaffolding

**Scaffold Design Engineer Position Requirements**
- Degree qualified within an Engineering discipline
- Experience of construction design that includes scaffolding
- Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Knowledge of the latest British and European codes of practice
- AutoCAD skills are essential, as well as good general IT skills
- Ability to read and fully understand engineering plans
- Minimum of 2 years' experience

**Scaffold Design Engineer Position Remuneration**
- Salary DOE
- 28 days' holiday
- Bonus - Annually in December from 2% to 4%
- Full support with ICE and Chartership
- 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Pension
- Other company benefits
