Newsagent Assistant

Shop & Post Office Assistant required for Busy Newsagents and Post Office in Putnoe.

**Duties**:

- opening and locking up
- serving customers - advising customers on correct post office product for their needs
- all post office related duties
- general shop cleaning
- date checking - stock rotation and refilling.

Flexibility is crucial. The shop is open from 6am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 7am-12:30 on Sunday. Shifts will vary per week.

Optional overtime is available.

MUST be over 18 due to selling tobacco and lottery.

You will need a clean criminal record for the Post Office DBS checks.

Must have prior experience and knowledge of the post office services or at minimum experience in a similar role (e.g. banking). Prior retail experience also crucial. This will NOT suit someone as a first job.
