Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team. As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This is a key role in our restaurant, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about culinary arts and has a strong background in food preparation. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes - Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed - Assist in training new kitchen employees - Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as necessary - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Experience: - Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices If you have a passion for cooking, enjoy leading a team, and have experience in the culinary field, we would love to hear from you. Pay: £14.00 per hour
