Based in Ballycastle, Leabank Nursing Home is currently recruiting a Cook to join their friendly, progressive Home. This is a key role within the Home, assisting in leading a team to deliver top quality, nutritious and delicious meals to much loved residents.

**Responsibilities**:
Lead and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent quality, wholesome and nutritious meals, meeting all dietary requirements
Meet business targets as set out in relation to the kitchen, including stock control, KPIs etc.
Lead and proactively manage team members, ensuring the efficient functioning of the department
Ensure compliance with the Home’s policies, procedures and documentation

Significant relevant experience in a similar role
Food hygiene and COSHH trained
Previous supervisory / management experience
Exceptional communicator at all levels
Committed to consistently delivering a high standard

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £12.35 per hour
