**About This Position**:
Here at Bury College, we have an opportunity to join the ALS team as a Wellbeing Advisor. As a Wellbeing Advisor you will be providing emotional wellbeing support to young people. You will work as part of a holistic team to provide face to face support for students who identify with emotional wellbeing needs, this support will aim to improve the success rates amongst these groups of learners.

You will be supporting learners in a way which recognises individual needs and respond appropriately to enable each learner to participate fully in college life and achieve their learning goals. By doing so, you will liaise with tutors and co-ordinate support for learners with wellbeing support needs and co-ordinate and run groups for learners.

A minimum of 12 months experience of providing support to young people who have identified emotional wellbeing needs, working with people with mental health needs and experience of working in a learning context is essential. Maintaining confidentiality is essential and excellent communication skills are important for this role.
