Tutor - Tiling

**Overview**:
We are seeking an individual who has a real passion for working with people and sharing their knowledge and experience to grow and develop others. You will be involved in development of the programme, have a dedicated area within the centre, which you can have input in creating enabling you to have the very best learning experience for our people.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the Institute and industry where appropriate.

**SELECTION CRITERIA - ESSENTIAL**:

- Current technical knowledge and competencies in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Vocational or lecturing experience relevant to Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and encourage learning using several modes of delivery.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.
- Undergo Safer Recruitment process (DBS, Reference Checks etc)
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Equal Opportunity principles and develop appropriate strategies to incorporate these into the learning environment.

**ACTIVITIES RELATED TO DELIVERY**

Activities Related to Delivery are those that assist in the delivery of quality education and training, and involves but not limited to:

- Planning
- Preparation
- Marking
- Design
- Teaching
- Administration duties

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
