**Morestarts** is proud to be working with a well-established client based in Mansfield, who are a leading provider of design and manufacture services for the UK rail industry.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To read engineering drawings for parts to be Fabricated/Welded
- To fabricate, assemble and weld components to the correct quality levels and set timescales
- To perform Welding/Plating tasks
- To ensure correct marking up of components parts
- To build fabricated assemblies as instructed
- Ability to assemble and Weld using jigs
- To ensure full compliance with works documentation, health and safety procedures, and requirements at all times
- To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness at all times
- MIG welder with past coding experience (will undergo welder qualification/coding at start of employment).
- TIG welding experience advantage but not essential
- Overhead crane experience/qualification advantageous.
- Abrasive wheel experience/qualification advantageous.
- Understanding of Welding Standards: BS EN 1090-1, 3834-2, 15085-2

**Salary and Shifts**:
£13-15ph dependant on level of experience

Monday to Thursday 07:15 - 16:00 / Fridays 07:15 -15:00

33 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)

Overtime available. Rates are x1.3 Weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
