Mechanical Design Engineer

**Salary**: £36,000 - £40,000

Hours: 37.5 Hour Week. Monday - Friday (Early finish)

Role:

- _To design and amend (continuous improvement) the range products as required. _
- _Incorporate customer requirements that meet quality & technical standards._
- _Follow procedures to ensure accurate information is documented in agreed format._
- _To offer up ideas where appropriate on how products could be improved._
- _To pass on job knowledge as required when training others.
- _To complete design requirements within or better than set target times._
- _To prioritise the designs in accordance with changing customer requirements, set._
- _To maintain and update designs._
- _Liaise with shop floor in terms of the build process/progress/issues_

Experience and Skills:

- _3D CAD - Fusion 360 (desirable)_
- _4+ years experience _
- _Materials testing industry experience (desirable) _
- _Ability to priorities workload_
- _Strong communication skills_
