I am looking to speak with a GIS Technician with a highways background looking for a contract position in the Sheffield area with a market leading infrastrucrure services and engineering company.
- CAD/GIS Technician - initially for a six month period, could lead to a permanent role
- Rate of pay: £30 - £35ph
- Hours & days of work: 35 pw
- Remote working? Possible, Max 1 to 2 days pw
- Job Spec: To carry out GIS and or CAD mapping of network data for both Footway and Carriageway failures at street level. Working with the Senior Engineer to determine and plot treatment types for scheme delivery ahead of the next cycle of programmed works.This may involve some site visits so driving licence an advantage but not essential.
- Additional vetting i.e. DBS, BPSS checks etc. Good Knowledge of Auto CAD and GIS systems along with a general competency in Microsoft Excel.
