Job Purpose
To deliver ‘Multiply’ learning across Hertfordshire to participants on the project, including short, medium and long-term courses and engaging with a range of adults through non-accredited, informal and formal learning.

Multiply is the Government’s strategy to improve mathematical attainment across the country.

**Main Responsibilities**

**1. **To organise and deliver ‘Multiply’ courses across Hertfordshire, including online and face to face delivery methods

**2. **To consistently deliver learner-centred learning to a high standard, including initial assessment and implementation of individual learning plans

**3. **To deliver to a range of adults in the community, including parents, ex-offenders, learners with learning difficulties/disabilities, employed and unemployed participants

**4. **To liaise with internal and external colleagues in ensuring a joined up Multiply curriculum offer that meets the needs of learners

**5. **Provide learners with appropriate information, advice and guidance to enable further successful progression

**6. **To ensure full completion of learner documentation including enrolment, learning and post learning documents

**7. **Assessing learning support needs and administering the SPS process to enable support to be provided

**8. **Undertake periodic learner reviews to ensure progress is being made and conducting exit reviews so that learners are able to progress effectively

**9. **Marking and reviewing learner work/assessments/assignments and giving constructive and meaningful feedback

**10. **Effective learner management including the timely completion of registers and liaison with the administration team to ensure caseloads are correct and complete

**11. **Encourage learners to give meaningful feedback through learner satisfaction surveys and through review meetings and to report back to Multiply Lead

**12. **To assist the Multiply lead in the facilitation of learner focus groups and to support in the collation and reporting of feedback

**13. **Support the service to meet the benchmarks set in Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework

**Other Duties**

**13. **To ensure that all safeguarding, Prevent, equality/diversity and GDPR policies and procedures are adhered to

**14. **To undertake appropriate administrative work associated with all the organisation’s operations

**Education and qualifications**
- Minimum L2 qualification in Maths and English or the commitment to achieve this qualification within a specified time period
- Teaching qualification at level 3 or above or alternative teaching experience

**Experience**
- Supporting individuals to find training and work
- Experience in presenting to small or large groups
- History of working in the education sector
- Experience of and ability to plan, write, deliver, and evaluate learning

**Knowledge and Ability**
- The ability to work within strict deadlines
- The ability to stay calm whilst under pressure
- Knowledge of the adult funding sector
- Knowledge of teaching platforms such as Google Classroom or Teams for Education
- Understanding of the Education Inspection Framework

**Qualities and Attributes**
- Interest in maths/numbers
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Be able to work as part of a team but use own initiative when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
