Hotel Receptionist

The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Receptionist, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
You will be maintaining the efficient operation of the reception department to the standards required by the hotel through job knowledge and personal attitude.
To ensure the efficient operation of the switchboard, taking messages, transferring calls, using the agreed procedures.
The efficient taking of reservations for accommodation and functions by accurately recording all relevant information and passing information to the relevant Head of Department. Handling reservations and updating, filing and dealing with relevant correspondence where necessary in accordance with company procedures.
To ensure that room allocations are dealt with under agreed procedures.
To check in all guests in accordance with Holiday Inn standards.
To deal with residential and non-residential queries and requests, ensuring that they are dealt with quickly and efficiently. To ensure the correct compilation, presentation and payment procedures of all guest accounts are carried out at all times.
To ensure that all guests are fully informed of all hotel facilities, including security key codes, car parking arrangements, food and beverage facilities and porterage service
Customer facing experience preferred.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
