We have a Permanent, Full Time position (40 hours per week) for a Distiller to join our Distillery team at The Cairn.

The Distillery, located in the Cairngorm National Park, is a new and fully automated site with maximum capacity of 2 million litres of alcohol per year and we are looking for a Distiller to join the team.

This role is currently on a shift rotation (8 am - 4 pm, 6 am to 2 pm, 2 to 10 pm) with a view to bringing in a night shift when production demands. This role is eligible for shift allowance.
- Have relevant experience of working within a production environment (whisky industry preferred)
- Be able to work on own initiative, with the ability to problem solve, plan own workload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Have good verbal and numerical ability
- Be able to operate complex machinery
- Possess a clean and current driving licence
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software
- Have an awareness of industry bodies such as COMAH, HMRC, SEPA and relevant responsibilities with respect to each

**The following are preferred, but full training will be given;**
- IBD Fundamentals of Distilling, or higher
- Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH
- Boiler Operator training
- Experience of SCADA control systems
