In this role, you will get to support the Group Head of Credit Risk Strategy with the on-going development of lending and collections strategy across all of the Banks product streams.

Your responsibilities will include
- Support the upscaling of the Credit Risk unit to help us deliver state of the art credit risk management across OSB Group
- Drive Credit work streams in the delivery of cross functional business projects including new product initiatives and the launch of policy / criteria changes
- Work closely with the product development team on new criteria innovation, providing Risk expertise and analytical support for expected future performance. Present findings back to management in a concise, summarised view (e.g. PowerPoint or Memo) withthe ability to expand on background information on specific segments where appropriate

- Challenge the status-quo through regular reviews of Credit Risk MI including Risk Appetite performance ensuring new business tranches are effectively managed;
- Maintain and update the group lending policies ensuring the appropriate governance steps are taken for approval;
- Ensure market benchmarking on lending policy is in place to provide timely views and analysis on areas of potential enhancement or change;
- Maintain the Group Arrears, Repossession and Forbearance policy ensuring the appropriate governance steps are concluded for approval;
- Monitor and administer the Bank's underwriting and collections related mandates while supporting the on-going development and assessment of mandated underwriters within the business;

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

- Experience in a credit, underwriting, risk or audit function
- Demonstrable experience in analysing data from various sources, drawing out key themes and summarising into tangible conclusions and actions
- Experience in leading and presenting discussions with stakeholders cross functionally
- Demonstrable experience working within a complex environment, prioritising and managing multiple work streams in parallel
- Experience of working in an environment that requires detailed and accurate business critical document design
- Knowledge or software such as SAS, SQL or equivalent
