**We are seeking to appoint a Classroom Assistant who**:

- Enjoys working with and has some experience of working with children.
- Has a calm, caring and consistent manner at all times
- Is enthusiastic, positive and adaptable
- Is able to support pupils across the curriculum under the direction of the class teacher
- Able to use initiative to support learning and behaviour
- Is a good role model for pupils
- Responds appropriately to pupils’ individual needs
- Is able to supervise and support pupils to ensure their safety
- Is flexible and a good team player, committed to working collaboratively
- To work closely with teachers to support planning and assessment
- Reinforce the behaviour policy and encourage independent working
