Monmouthshire County Council are looking for someone like you to join the team. We have a Ground Worker role. The main purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient service to the council.

Role: Grounds Worker

Location: Mitchel Troy Depot, Monmouth NP25 4HX

Rate: £11.18 ph

Contract length: 6 months initially, with a high possibility of extension

Shift Patterns: 37 per week, Mon - Fri (However there will be a requirement to work 43 hrs per week, with the additional 6 hours being paid overtime - time and a quarter)

**Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of street services activities
- Maintaining local environment activities such as litter picking responding to fly-tipping, etc
- Loading of waste will only be undertaken if the operative has indicated a willingness to participate in the service (eg: holiday catch-up)
